How to Start Your Collection

There are many ways to start your collection, a good way is to browse our store to see the “general” merchandise to get a feel of the items, you might consider buying one or two items that caught your fancy just to start off and choose the niche to focus on later. If you are intending to purchase a gift to a collector friend, it would also be great to observe if your friend has follows a particular “trend” of collecting, giving them something that they treasured would definitely make the gift something very special indeed.

Types of Diecast Vehicles

After accumulating a few units of “vehicles”, you might consider focusing on just collecting one type of vehicles, for example: you might consider only collecting model cars, or even aiming only for a full range BMW model cars. There are also collectors focusing on collecting trucks, especially the models that have company logos on them like the Coca-Cola trucks being a major hit among collectors. Some people concentrate their collection on emergency vehicles like different models of police cars (police, polizei etc.) around the world. Whereas those who have an interest in machinery would probably collect farm vehicles like tractors, excavators and even farm animals!!!
This collector below focus on collecting cars but has one motorcycle and a couple of four wheel drives as well.

Brands of Toy Models

You might also admire the variety, quality, style or workmanship of a particular toy maker such as Corgi, and spend your energy (and money!) on accumulating only models of a specific brand. Matchbox have been a hot focus as they manufacture toys that can fit into a “matchbox”, this have generate particular appeal to quite a number of people who fancy compact miniatures that can be carried around and shown to friends.
