- Register: It is free and easy, simply click on the ebay logo above, you would need a email address and preferably a Paypal account (register paypal here for free). Paypal is preferred as it not only protects your financial information from the seller it also provides provides you the buyer protection up to the amount of £150, therefore insuring your purchases against lost and fraud etc.
- Search and Browse: Look for what you fancy in our store, click on any of the item listings and it will bring you to the bidding site.
- Review the listings: MOST IMPORTANT STEP BEFORE YOU BID, read the item description COMPLETELY to understand what are you getting for the price, check on the seller's reputation by clicking on the feedback rating beside the Seller ID, it will be more preferable if the seller has a feedback rating of at least 100 or above, positive feedback of at least 95%, and has sell to various country. It is also wise to check on the SHIPPING CONDITIONS AND CHARGES before bidding to understand the total cost for you to purchase the product. Look for those seller who would provide buyer guarantee where they would refund the purchase price (minus shipping charges) should you are not satisfied with the item purchased. Check out for the payment conditions as well to see if the payment method is something that you are comfortable with, most sellers would accept Paypal (most convenient), credit cards and a few would take postal / bank cheques.
- Placing a bid or Buy It Now: Items can be purchased either by placing the bid (where the highest bidder wins) or by Buy It Now. Placing a bid involves you to enter the highest price that you are prepared to pay for the item and ebay's proxy bidding system will automatically bid on your behalf increment by increment until the highest price stated by you or for you to stay on as the highest bidder. Buy It Now items are listings where you could purchase the items instantly by paying the price amount stated by the seller, which means you get the items instantly without waitng *grin*
- Pay for your item: Sellers would only deliver your item once payment has been made. So ensure that payment is made soonest possible. Once item is won, there will be an invoice emailed by the seller to your email account, which contains information on how to pay the seller (bank account information and mailing address), if you are paying by using paypal, simply click on the Pay It Now button where they will direct you to the website to make your payment (paypal email address required.)
